Fisher Weddings Terms and Conditions of Booking
Payments: A deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking together with a booking form (either the printed or online version) to secure the date. The booking is confirmed only when the deposit is paid. The remainder of the payment is to be made two weeks prior to the wedding date. These payments are non-refundable.
Photography: During your session, we will automatically re-take any photograph where we can see someone has blinked but it is impossible to guarantee to see them all. The more people in the photograph the more difficult it is to see.
Requested Photographs: Due to changes of the weather, timings and the availability and willingness of subject, we will do their best to honour requested photographs but do not undertake to guarantee any specific picture, background, location or group arrangement. Where guests ‘resist’ having their picture taken, we will use our best endeavours to obtain their cooperation, but will not push ‘reluctant subjects’ into having their picture taken. Special requests are not binding instruction although please be assured that every effort will be made to comply with your requirements.
Wedding Collection: We may not submit every photograph taken at the session and the final selection of images will be entirely at our discretion.
Image Retention: Digital image files are retained for three years and online proofs are removed after 3 months although may be reinstated for short periods according to your instruction at any time during the 3 year period.
Legal Protection: It is your responsibility to inform us if there are any guests who do not wish their children to be photographed or require their identity / image to be withheld due to court instruction / order or legal matter. If this then becomes evident after the session, then please let us know immediately.
Weather Conditions: Due to the possibility of temperature change and volatile weather conditions that may be experienced at your wedding, it is a requirement that our photographers take the appropriate measures and breaks. This may mean that they will be unavailable for short periods while they take any appropriate natural breaks, protect electrical equipment from the rain, or allow it to warm up in winter.
Force Majeure: In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, injury or sickness beyond Fisher Weddings’ control, liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Cancellation: If Fisher Weddings have to cancel this contract for reasons beyond their control (death, injury, sickness etc) liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid.
Marketing: Fisher Weddings reserves the right to use the proofs, prints, images, negatives and /or digital files for display, promotional, sale and any other purpose deemed fit by Fisher Weddings without liability to you or compensation. The acceptance of these Terms & Conditions amounts to a “Model Release” for the use of the images. If this is unacceptable to you, then please write to us withdrawing your approval to this clause stating that you do not give your permission to such use, or alternatively, to what limitation you would like to apply to the image’s usage.
Privacy: Fisher Weddings will store your name and wedding details on a private internal database. These details will not be made available to companies or individuals outside of Fisher Weddings. Click here for full Privacy Policy.
